 | 03:53 pm - my hands are tied You know how I'm not allowed in the kitchen (court order), due to various culinary disasters that somehow occur in my presence? Eventually, I always talk myself out of the prohibition, like, jeez, I can make freaking nachos, alright? Relax!
Weeellll...I lit the potholder on fire when I was taking them out of the oven. BRILLIANT. I'm just lucky it wasn't, you know, my skin. Also: I did not drop the nachos, because I am a cool-ass motherfucker under pressure. That, or my love for cheese rivals those people who lift cars up off their kids. Whichever.
"Bleach" was next up in my anime rotation. Oh my god, you guys. I was hooked instantly. Ichigo!!! He's sort of prickly, and gruff, and stupidly heroic, and a good big brother. So cute. *loves already* Great English voicework, too.
I was on the third episode before I was like "wait a minute...nah..." but I was right - the same guy who was the excellent English voiceactor for my beloved Vash also does the voice for Ichigo. Ha! Which is odd, because they sound nothing alike. Vash's voice is high-pitched, light and clear. Ichigo's is much lower and rougher, hard-edged, and just...totally different. Johnny Yong Bosch is evidently the go-to-guy for good English voiceovers, and I can see why. He's great at it. And rather cute, himself!
Deadliest Catch: I laughed so hard over Jake giving his father an apoplectic fit. Those boys!
Kinda hungry, wonder if I dare return to the kitchen. Probably set the whole building on fire. Could someone please make me a sandwich? Sigh.

 | 01:18 pm I have been scouring YouTube for videos of Tucker Barkley's classes.
Sickest dancer I have ever seen in my life. I think he's missing some ribs or something, or his spine is made of rubber. Fast, yet so fluid and smoooooth. It's insane.
So now I totally love some skinny, floppy-haired teenage kid because he choreographs and dances like a demon.
THANKS A LOT, callherblondie.
Also: BSG is back! I missed you Lee Adama, you and your tight-lipped smile and heart-broken eyes and endless questioning. And the way you can't ever, ever let her go. Love. Him. *clings* And as many times as Gaius has repulsed me, I still find him interesting, hilarious, and...I like his haircut. A lot. Oh, help. The shame, it burns!
( library_of_sex, I'm totally working on that meme. I swear, give me one assignment and it's like I shoot right back into school - nothing but procrastination and excuses. :D)
In closing: if you still have not purchased Burial's sophomore album Untrue, you may want to rectify that immediately. It's fantastic, gorgeous, various other adjectives...freaking cool, basically.
